Field Service Engineer | UK travel required | Permanent | Up to £40,000 | Company vehicle and fuel card
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repairs to machinery UK wide.
This role does require regular weeks working away from home.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosing faults with machinery
2. Servicing and emergency repairs
3. Carry out asset care plans and PM schedules across a range of automated filling and packaging equipment, robotics, site services, and liquids processing equipment.
4. Operating within a CMMS system
5. Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
6. Assist with contractor servicing of plant, machinery, and services.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
8. Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery
9. Process Improvement, Quality, reporting, and Safety.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Mechanical knowledge
2. Experience working on a range of electrical and mechanical breakdowns repair of plant, machinery, and services.
3. Experience of implementing PM schedules
4. Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic systems.
