Are you a seasoned Controls Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and drive innovation in the automation industry?
Actemium Automation Warrington is seeking a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team!
About the role
As a Senior Controls Engineer at Actemium Automation Warrington, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for a wide range of automation projects.
From concept to commissioning, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish
2. Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
3. Produce, design and test documentation
4. Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
5. Perform testing with customers
6. Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessions
The Person
1. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI/SCADA development.
2. Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential
3. Strong understanding of control systems theory and industrial automation standards.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects from conception to completion.
