HMP Stafford is a category C prison based in Staffordshire supporting around 750 male patients. The site has a high population of elderly patients with complex health needs and long term conditions. Within this role you ensure the delivery of a high quality GP service at HMP Stafford, lead prescriber meetings, support on governance, deliver ward rounds for the specialist care unit, and will clinically supervise a 0.2 General Practitioner. Main duties of the job Our Lead General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community, as a Lead General Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary.
