Now, we’re looking for superstar Category Executive to join us and help drive this mission forward.
Your Role

We’re on the hunt for a Category Executive to join our Growth Team, reporting directly to our Category and Commercial Strategy Director.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping the future — driving our brands, helping our customers thrive, and strengthening our reputation as category leaders in sustainable produce.

Location: You’ll be based at our London office in Kings Cross with the option to work from home 2 days per week. Travel for customer meetings is required, as well as occasional travel to our Farm in Kent and our Leaf Lab in Cambridge.
Who you’ll be working with
* As a vital member of the Growth Team you’ll be collaborating cross functionally with functions to support a category-led approach and help elevate category and shopper capability and knowledge across the team.
* You'll work hand-in-hand with our commercial and shopper marketing teams, crafting winning customer plans that drive category and brand success. You’ll play a key part in strengthening relationships with our top-tier retail partners, including Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
What you’ll be doing
Category Insights & Strategy (40%) – Uncover data-driven insights to drive category growth.
* Analyse data from Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, SIP, and other sources to create compelling, actionable insights.
* Develop monthly reports and scorecards to keep the business informed on market trends and performance.
* Help shape our category vision and strategy, ensuring we continue to lead in sustainable fresh produce.
Customer & Retailer Collaboration (30%) – Build strong relationships and influence key retail partners.
* Work closely with Tesco and Sainsbury’s, delivering best-in-class range, space, and promotional recommendations.
* Support the sales team with category stories and presentations to unlock new opportunities.
* Act as a trusted advisor to our retail partners, helping them understand consumer trends and category growth drivers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%) – Work with internal teams to bring insights to life.
* Partner with Sales and Shopper Marketing to develop customer-focused, consumer driven initiatives to grow the category and our brand.
* Inform brand plans and our product pipeline through category insights.
* Ensure category data is used effectively across the business, making numbers meaningful and actionable.
Continuous Learning & Development (10%) – Stay ahead of industry trends and refine your skills.
* Keep up to date with consumer trends, retail dynamics, and category best practices.
* Seek out opportunities to develop new tools and ways of working to improve our efficiency and impact.
* Actively contribute to a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

What skills you should have
We’re looking for someone who is deep rooted, passionate about people, the planet, and (of course) leafy greens, someone who thrives in a collaborative and purpose driven environment.
Must have skills:
* Analytical mindset – Ability to connect data from multiple sources and turn insights into compelling stories.
* Strong communication skills – Able to influence and inspire internal teams and retail partners.
* Commercial acumen – High levels of commercial awareness, with a keen eye for opportunities.
* Proficiency in Excel & data tools – Hands-on experience with category data (Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, SIP preferred but not essential).
Nice to have skills:
* Experience in FMCG or retail category management.
* Background in category, shopper marketing, sales or insights.
* Passion for sustainability and food.
What success looks like in this role
* 3 months in – You’ve rooted yourself in our business, built strong relationships, and contributed to ongoing projects.
* 6 months in – You’ve taken ownership of key initiatives and started seeing the fruits of your labour.
* 12 months in – You’ve driven measurable impact, helping shape future category strategies and making the business bloom.
