Your Role:
To join the leadership team at the Atlas Copco IAS & MVS US Customer Center to drive profitable growth, expand our customer base, and maximize customer satisfaction. In this role, you will lead the Sales team for the SFA Business Line, which is part of the Machine Vision Solutions Division. This position reports to the General Manager, IAS & MVS NA Customer Center, with a dotted line matrix reporting to the Vice President of Smart Factory Automation.
What you will do:
1. Plan and direct all aspects of the Machine Vision Solutions SFA business line in sales and business development, including policies, objectives, and initiatives.
2. Develop and execute a sales plan to fulfill the organization's growth and revenue goals for the SFA business line.
3. Lead, coach, and motivate the SFA sales organization, aligned with our Customer Center & Division culture, mindset, and value-based selling initiatives.
4. Develop and strengthen the SFA market position regarding account coverage, key account personnel allocation, product positioning, and launches.
5. Ensure technical ability in the sales channel and drive competency development initiatives where applicable.
6. Develop and implement sales strategies with all sales channels to maximize revenue and meet sales goals.
7. Develop training programs, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and review current development programs to ensure adherence to Company goals.
8. Actively integrate acquired product lines into the organization.
9. P&L responsibility for the US SFA business line to achieve sustainable, profitable growth.
To succeed, you will need:
1. A four-year degree from an accredited University is required.
2. Minimum 10 years experience in sales or marketing with five years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
3. Experience in leading, managing, and motivating an organization.
4. Experience working within an international matrix organization with proven ability to adapt easily to different cultures.
5. Ability to deliver innovation and create new standards.
6. Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
