Legal Counsel
About the role
Nominet has a small legal team advising all areas of the business. Most legal work is kept in-house, with some conducted in partnership with external law firms for specialized advisory work. You will provide legal business partnering support to sales and product teams regarding global services, license transactions, commercial deals, and partnership opportunities.
This is a hands-on, varied role supporting public sector bids, drafting, reviewing, and advising on customer and vendor contracts, and supporting various business activities.
The essentials
It is essential that you have 3+ years of post-qualified experience in the UK, preferably with government tender and procurement experience.
You should have a proactive approach to problem solving, work with the business to identify risks, assist with contract management, and ensure compliance with corporate governance.

You will have experience working in complex legal environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to own activities and see them through to completion. You are a team player, resilient, proactive, and a critical thinker who enjoys tackling complex challenges in a dynamic setting.
