Job Title: Planner – with Piling experience

Duration: Temporary and Permanent contracts available
As a Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are kept on track by producing reports and using project management tools to keep all other teams involved in the project on track.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and review comprehensive work programs.
2. Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
3. Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and architects.
4. Generate progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients, and stakeholders.
5. Break down large projects into manageable development phases.
6. Utilise project management tools to establish realistic timeframes.
7. Collaborate with estimators to determine project resource requirements.
8. Plan contingency programs for potential timeframe adjustments.
9. Conduct meetings with contractors and suppliers.
10. Demonstrate expertise in construction practices.
11. Prepare tender bids.
12. Manage multiple projects with the support of junior planners.
13. Flexibly work between offices and construction sites.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in planning piling projects.
2. Comfortable Familiarity with various planning, programming, and progress monitoring methods.
3. An understanding of the piling market, methods, plant, equipment, and requirements.
4. Knowledge of current Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
5. Possession of a relevant CSCS card.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
7. Understanding of various tender, contract, and specification documents.
8. Ability to use Primavera v6 planning software.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Ability to identify risks and opportunities.
11. Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
12. Demonstrated effective leadership of both direct and indirect reports.
