Field Technician – Hydrosave
Location: Covering Cambridge region
Salary: £24,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent (subject to 6 month probationary period)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
You will work from your home location each day and be prepared to carry out some driving to/from site in your own time.
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for dedicated Field Technicians to join Hydrosave in supporting critical water network
operations You’ll be installing Accoustic noise logging devices, ensuring accurate data collection, and supporting the efficient
operation of the water network. This position offers a unique chance to work outdoors, develop technical skills, and play a key
part in maintaining reliable and sustainable water services.
What’s the Role?
As a Field Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the water network operations by installing acoustic noise logging
devices. This field-based position requires working independently, managing your time effectively, and ensuring work is completed
to high standards.
* Install Accoustic noise logging devices across the Cambridge Water area.
* Work from home as your base, traveling to and from sites as needed.
* Ensure work is carried out safely and responsibly, following all safety protocols.
* Record data accurately using Microsoft Excel.
* Adapt to working outdoors in all weather conditions.
What You’ll Need
* To consent to and pass a CRB check
* Drug and alcohol testing will be performed throughout the contract and upon commencement
* Comfortable with working outdoors in all weather.
* A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the team.
* Ability to work safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all regulations.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data recording.
* Initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
