Position: Locum Orthopaedics Physiotherapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Cheltenham Start Date : ASAP End Date : 17 November 2024 Hours : Monday to Friday (08:30 to 16:30) Rate : £29.00 - £32.00 per hour Shift Times: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 37.5 hours weekly Job Description: We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Orthopaedics Physiotherapist to join our team at Cheltenham General Hospital. In this role, you will provide senior clinical cover to the trauma and orthopaedic wards, ensuring high-quality physiotherapy services for patients. What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role? As a Band 7 Locum Orthopaedics Physiotherapist you will assess and treat patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions, developing tailored rehabilitation plans to facilitate recovery. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and enhance treatment outcomes. You will also provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and recovery processes. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with departmental and legal standards. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist at Band 5/6 level. Experience in trauma and orthopaedics preferred. Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
