This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression and sharing knowledge and experience with other veterinary professionals. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of continuous experience working in a small animal practice as a Veterinary Surgeon.
The veterinary practice is located in Wath upon Dearne, a small town on the south side of the Dearne Valley in the historic county of the West Riding of Yorkshire and the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. The veterinary practice lies 5 miles north of Rotherham, almost midway between Barnsley and Doncaster. It offers great transport links to both the M1 and A1 (M). You also have the possibility to explore the beautiful Peak District.
This is a 4-day week role with 1 in 3 Saturdays. Further to the flexibility that 4 days allow, there is also on offer a very competitive salary up to £55,000 as well as a £5,200 accommodation allowance. A car is also provided or an allowance, as well as great CPD funding with 3 days paid CPD leave. VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid. Exclusive retail, days out and holiday discounts available, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, auto-enrollment in the UK pension scheme, and many other benefits including 5 weeks of annual leave and fantastic career progression opportunities.
There is also a relocation allowance of up to £5,000 for candidates moving from overseas, as well as up to £2,000 for candidates already working in the UK but who are moving more than 50 miles from their previous home address.
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon that can start ASAP.
