United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and visionary Lead Nurse to work between our Outpatients and Diagnostics departments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering outstanding patient care across our Trust.
This position is subject to a deferment, candidates will start no earlier than May 2025.
Main duties of the job
As the Lead Nurse for Outpatients and Diagnostics, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and strategic direction for both our Outpatient and Diagnostic services across our Lincoln, Boston and Grantham sites. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring that our services meet national standards and guidelines.
Your role will include:
1. Leading, inspiring, and developing a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
2. Ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, safety, and patient experience are maintained.
3. Collaborating with senior management and other departments to plan, implement, and evaluate services in line with Trust objectives.
4. Managing resources effectively, including staffing, budgets, and equipment, to ensure efficient service delivery.
5. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading on quality improvement projects.
