Michael Page are excited to partner with a leading business services team that are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger to join their finance team. This role will have a range of responsibilities; maintaining and updating the sales ledger, processing sales invoices and credit notes, supporting credit control and purchase ledger teams, and working closely and building relationships with customers. Client Details Our client is a well-established company within the business services industry, who are looking for someone to aid them in their growth in 2025. They have a solid reputation for delivering outstanding services to their extensive client base. Description The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: Accurately process and record sales invoices and credit notes. Maintain and update the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and timeously. Processing and posting cash received onto Customers' account. Supporting our main Finance Functions including Purchase Ledger and Credit Control. Identify outstanding queries. Resolve queries escalating appropriately where necessary. Building relationships with customers. Assist in month end procedures where necessary e.g. sending statements and producing aged debtor reports. Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist where necessary. Profile A successful Sales Ledger Controller should have: Sales ledger experience is essential. Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience of SAGE 200 is preferred but not essential. Excellent attention to detail, reliable and hardworking. A strong communicator that's able to work well within a team and help other team members when needed. Be able to multi-task and prioritise workload. Job Offer This role offers a competitive salary between £26,000-£30,000 plus beneifts.
