About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Land Registrar to manage complex title matters for our client's family-owned estates. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in property law, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Land Registry Applications: Handle applications and disputes related to land registration.
2. Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research of property records to determine ownership history and legal status.
3. Boundary and Licensing Matters: Resolve boundary disputes and manage licensing issues.
4. Adverse Possession Claims: Contest adverse possession claims.
5. Seigneurial Franchises and Droits: Manage these unique property rights.
6. Highways and Marine Property: Address title matters related to highways and marine properties.
7. Restrictive Covenants: Oversee the management of restrictive covenants.
8. Estate Ownership Assurance: Conduct perambulations and ensure the integrity of estate ownership records.
What We're Looking For:
1. Robust research and analytical skills.
2. Profound understanding of property law.
3. Direct experience of working with legal and property records.
4. Previous experience in conducting title research or related work in the property industry.
5. Direct experience of property disputes and their resolution.
6. Direct experience of dealings with HM Land Registry.
7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
8. Familiarity with mapping software.
9. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct when handling confidential or sensitive information.
