Toro Recruitment is searching for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of a leading client in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative electrical systems across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for grid-scale installations and renewable energy projects.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and provide expert advice on project delivery.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration into existing infrastructure.
4. Perform system modeling, simulation, and optimization to enhance performance and efficiency.
5. Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure project success and operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional certification or Chartered Engineer status.
3. Expertise in power generation systems, grid integration, and SCADA systems.
4. Strong understanding of industry standards (IEC, ENA, BS7671) and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Proficiency in system design tools like MATLAB and AutoCAD, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
