M & E Technical Service Lead
Our client, a reputable and established building services company is looking for a M & E Technical Service Lead and offering wages of up to £65K.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake mobilisation site reviews and validations.
2. Assist with design reviews premobilisation, including:
1. Design Q&A Sessions alongside the Senior PM Team.
2. Preparation of drawings with subcontractors for balancing/flushing requirements (premobilisation).
3. Assist with design reviews on site, including:
1. On-site design/installation monitoring.
2. As-built mark up whenever visiting site.
4. Review labour on site and feedback requirements to Senior Team.
5. Collaborate with labour on the ground to ensure a good working environment and morale for all, acting as eyes and ears for the Senior Team.
6. Review the project programme on a weekly basis and ensure a two-week look ahead is reviewed on every bi-weekly visit.
7. Prepare the project progress snapshot to be issued to the Senior PM Team monthly, which includes:
1. Up-to-date drawing register.
2. Up-to-date as-built mark-up including highlighted progress completion (green).
3. Accompanying photographic evidence of work progress.
4. H&S Audit (2 from previous month) to be issued as separate documents with the progress snapshot.
5. Monthly % tracking document (Site Progress Percentage Document - SPPD).
6. Final issue of as-built mark-ups to Senior Team.
7. Final issue of all testing certification to Senior Team.
8. Site handovers / customer witnessing.
9. Undertake and manage on-site client handover training.
Skills Required:
1. Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
3. Excellent knowledge of British Standards and both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
4. Self-starter with excellent communication at all levels (from Site Level to Senior Management).
5. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the relevant field of operation.
6. Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.
7. Experience in a similar position.
8. Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.
9. Full UK driver's license.
