WANTED - Experienced Full Time Rider and Groom - Fawley, Wantage, Oxfordshire
A professional, experienced rider to join North Farm Stud. This position will include various riding activities for the stud and the rehabilitation and retraining of racehorses in collaboration with HEROS Charity. The position offers the chance to work with quality horses in a supportive and professional environment, while making a meaningful contribution to the aftercare of former racehorses in the UK.
Responsibilities and Requirements
1. Riding and educating a range of horses with differing abilities and talents.
2. Following and contributing towards their individualised programmes of training/retraining for each horse.
3. Working as part of our yard team to ensure the highest welfare and care is provided at all times.
4. Riding to showcase the work of NFS and HEROS at open days.
5. Presenting horses and riding for rehoming appointments.
6. Possibility of riding in competition for the right person.
7. General yard duties.
