Job Description Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives
Location: Scottish Borders - Hawick / Selkirk / Galashiels
Hourly Rate: £12.50
Contract type: Full time, 7 months fixed-term contract
Working hours: 07:30-16:00 Monday to Friday
About the role
We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support over the busy spring and summer seasons.Responsibilities will include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more, tokeep several local housing association open spaces in a wonderful condition for our client. Its a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Requirements
Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required, as well as pedestrian and ride-on mower experience and experience using other grounds maintenance equipment such as leaf blowers and strimmers.
A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
PA1 and PA6 pesticide spraying certificates.
