We have an opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team in our children’s home in Porth, RCT, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders. All our homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support. To be a successful Deputy Children’s Home Manager, you’ll need: QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) is essential. Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or a Shift Leader, in a Children’s residential setting. The ability to work with autonomy in addition to excellent communication skills, both with internal and external agencies. A willing attitude and a caring, reliable nature. Compassion and empathy. Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice. A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience. Due to the requirements of the role the minimum age requirement for the role is 22 years of age. Full UK manual driving license (This is essential due to the needs of the Young People we support).
