The role of the Regulatory Programme Manager reports directly to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and requires strong cross-functional collaboration with multiple functions including Technical, Science, Marketing, International and Quality. The primary responsibility is to support the regulatory team in the creation of clear and defined policies and procedures to support more efficient ways of working. It is truly an exciting time to join the business and power up our point of difference in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
Framework & Process Development
* Be responsible for the implementation of global regulatory strategies aligned with business goals.
* Design, implement and optimise regulatory processes across NPD, Marketing, International to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
* Review and optimise frameworks for all key regulatory activities in the department and make suggestions to enhance ways of working and productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with all relevant departments to ensure project deadlines are met and any blockers are effectively communicated to the key stakeholders.
* Ensure processes are fit for purpose globally where possible, with strong links with counterparts in Benelux, China, and other International markets.
* Facilitate training sessions on regulatory processes and requirements.
* Support in the management of relationships with key regulatory and trade associations, such as HFMA and PAGB.
Regulatory Insights & Updates
* Remain updated on regulatory changes and industry trends that may influence marketing strategies, providing valuable insights to marketing teams and senior management.
Document Control
* Develop and maintain document control procedures and systems.
* Ensure all regulatory documents are accurately filed, stored, and updated as necessary.
* Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring records are readily accessible.
KPI Reporting and Tracking
* Review and define SLAs for all key regulatory tasks and workflows.
* Develop regulatory KPI reporting dashboards.
* Highlight any KPI performance issues or blockers to management and suggest improvement actions.
Location:
This role is based in London, with occasional travel required to our Nuneaton Hub, and to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days presence in the offices.
This role will be offered on a 12-month, fixed-term basis.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Extensive relevant experience in regulatory affairs or compliance in a retail or FMCG industry.
* MS Office - particularly Excel and PowerPoint for creating dashboards and reports.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a cross-functional team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
