Job Description:
Business Development Representative United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Job Description
Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.
At Telent, you will have the opportunity to be part of something bigger. To keep things moving, to connect people. It's important work that we are passionate about. We focus on learning fast, inspiring colleagues, and making the organization run smoother and better. Join us and help keep the nation's critical networks connected and protected 24/7.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a vital role in Telent’s go-to-market strategy. As you grow in the role, we’ll help you develop your career at Telent for years to come.
BDR - What you’ll do:
* Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we operate in, to educate prospects.
* Work closely with the Sales team to support the sales pipeline and growth by researching target accounts and key stakeholders.
* Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on your territory research.
* Perform targeted outreach via phone, email, social media, and your own efforts to generate interest and sell our services.
* Follow up with warm inbound leads from marketing and convert them into meetings and new business opportunities.
* Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.
BDR - Who you are:
We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates with relevant sales experience, especially in outbound sales, and the ability to generate new leads. Experience from other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent is preferred, along with some office experience.
Telent - What we offer:
A career at Telent offers opportunities across sectors, roles, and technologies, fostering skill development and impact. We value diversity and inclusion, encouraging everyone to be themselves and thrive at work. We are committed to creating an inclusive culture that respects differences and celebrates ideas.
