Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Head of FP&A to join a dynamic, high-growth business backed by a leading Private Equity firm. As a strategic partner to the CFO and senior leadership team, this role will be pivotal in driving performance, shaping the financial future of the business, and contributing to an ambitious growth and value creation journey.
This position sits at the heart of a collaborative finance team and offers a chance to take ownership of the FP&A function at a critical inflection point, supporting commercial decisions and enhancing visibility across the organization.
Job Duties:
Spearhead the development and execution of a scalable, forward-looking FP&A function that delivers accurate forecasting, actionable insights, and a culture of transparency.
Lead the preparation of monthly reporting packs for the Board and investors, ensuring commentary is commercially relevant and performance metrics are clearly communicated.
Build robust, fit-for-purpose financial models to underpin long-term strategic planning, investment cases, and scenario analysis.
Drive improvement initiatives across financial processes and reporting standards to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and business alignment.
Act as a finance business partner to operations, sales, supply chain, and production, supporting profitability analysis and identifying margin enhancement opportunities.
Champion cross-functional collaboration and embed FP&A as a key pillar of business decision-making through education, influence, and enablement.
Identify risks and opportunities in business performance, providing timely insight to influence proactive decision-making.
Play a leading role in change management initiatives, including the harmonisation of reporting systems, adoption of standardised KPIs, and system enhancements.
Maintain strong engagement with external stakeholders to instil confidence in financial plans and outcomes.
Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making throughout the business.
What we're looking for:
ACCA/CIMA qualified
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or product-based environment, ideally with exposure to standard costing principles.
A strategic and commercially aware finance professional with a strong background in FP&A within fast-paced, change-driven environments.
High emotional intelligence and communication skills, able to influence and gain credibility across senior and operational stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing complex data to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insight.
Adept in financial systems and capable of driving improvements in tools, reporting frameworks, and data accessibility.
Ambitious and self-motivated, with a proactive mindset and commitment to delivering value in a Private Equity context.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior finance professionals, fostering both capability and accountability.
