About the team
The IMA Media team help clients connect their advertising to the target audience through paid media channels. We start by gathering audience insight in terms of who they are, what they look like, and what media they consume. Once we have that information we begin media planning using our bespoke planning process. We select media based on its ability to resonate with and deliver to the audience, always remaining relevant in terms of context and mindset.
Summary of the role
As a Senior Media Manager at IMA you will be responsible for the day to day running of client business, using high levels of initiative to deliver effective media planning, implementation and optimisation across all paid media channels for our clients. This role requires experience of leading account management and formulation of short to long term client strategy, but also of people and team management. You will also drive integration with wider teams such as strategy, creative and digital.
Some responsibilities of the Senior Media Manager role will include
* Formulate media solutions/plans according to client needs/objectives, by researching, planning and buying media across all channels
* Support TV specialists with TV strategy, planning & rationale, leading on AV sponsorship negotiations across the media team
* Co-ordinate media planning insight and strategy development for clients, managing the gathering of audience insight whether it be from research or data
* Ensure that effectiveness is considered throughout your processes. You will thoroughly understand KPI’s and how to measure them
* Take a major role in construction of pitch documents and client proposals
* Offer senior manager level support on client accounts, developing strong relationships and acting as the trusted advisor on media related briefs
