Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join an award-winning and Legal 500-ranked law firm based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Role Responsibilities The incoming Commercial Litigation Solicitor will join a leading law firm who are renowned for providing excellent service to their clients and promoting a culture of individuality, openness, and diversity. With a commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to the Commercial Litigation team. The day-to-day jobs duties within this role will include: Advising and representing clients in breach of contract claims, including disputes over supplier agreements, service contracts, and business terms Effectively managing conflicts arising from shareholder agreements, partnership dissolutions, and director misfeasance claims Acting on behalf of claimants or defendants in cases against professionals such as Solicitors, Accountants, and Surveyors Providing support to clients for contentious insolvency proceedings, including asset recovery and director liability claims Pursuing and defending high-value debt claims, including the drafting of statutory demands and enforcement proceedings Advising on and participating in mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of ADR to resolve disputes without the need for court proceedings Preparing cases for trial, drafting pleadings, and instructing Developing and maintaining strong client relationships by providing commercially focused advice and ensuring a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes Person Specification The incoming Commercial Litigation Solicitor will have previous experience in dealing with Commercial Litigation matters with a reputable law firm. Importantly, you will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE.
