An excellent opportunity to join an exceptionally successful organisation based in Winchester. This is a new role within the business, where you will be supporting with financial reporting, management accounts preparation and assisting with the financial operations of several companies within the Group.
Key responsibilities as a Management Accountant:
1. Record and post financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments
2. Prepare and file VAT returns
3. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts and other financial accounts
4. Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
5. Identify, investigate and resolve any account discrepancies
6. Manage the accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments and maintaining supplier records
7. Ad hoc reporting and analysis
8. Balance sheet management and reconciliation
9. Produce draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet
10. Identify ways that processes and reporting can be improved and drive these improvements
11. Collaborating with the Finance team on various projects

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' UK experience in Management Accounting, as well as part way through studying towards an ACCA or ACA or, at least AAT qualified, and you also have the following:
1. Excellent interpersonal skills
2. Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Good working knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel
5. English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
