RSW working for a prestigious client have the following vacancy available for a Technical Officer.
Salary is £27000 plus pension, cash-plan healthcare and DIS 6 x salary. Hours are 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-1 Friday.
Main Purpose of Role
To ensure the effective and accurate management of technical documentation, support the Technical Engineering department and where applicable mentor junior employees.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain the documentation control database and generate reports on request.
2. Manage and maintain the receipt and registration of customer information and reply on receipt when appropriate.
3. Manage and maintain the distribution of internal documentation to other departments.
4. Study/research electronic and mechanical components using various sources and register them on the company ERP system.
5. Support the ECN/Build deviation process.
6. Work on one's own initiative or part of a Project team, managing own workload.
7. Support junior staff with mentoring / development program.
8. Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
9. Any other duties deemed necessary.
ESSENTIAL Skills
1. PC Literate - Microsoft Office / Internet.
2. Basic electronic component knowledge.

1. Electronic contract manufacturing industry.

3. Assembly Build skills.
