Reed Education are currently working with a large Secondary School in Cheshire West to appoint an Examinations Officer. This role will commence at the end of March for 6 months Job Description: As an Exams Officer, you will play a crucial role in the administration and coordination of all internal and external examinations within the school. Your responsibilities will include: • Coordinating Exam Schedules: Organize and manage the timetable for all exams, ensuring minimal disruption to the school calendar. • Liaising with Exam Boards: Communicate with examination boards to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. • Managing Exam Entries: Process and verify exam entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Overseeing Exam Day Operations: Supervise the setup and smooth running of exam days, including the distribution of exam materials and invigilation. • Handling Results and Certificates: Manage the receipt, distribution, and storage of exam results and certificates. • Providing Support to Students and Staff: Offer guidance and support to students and staff regarding exam procedures and regulations. • Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of all exam-related activities and ensure data protection compliance. Requirements: • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in using office software and exam management systems. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
