Randstad are recruiting a general Support Assistant for students who require support, across third level education for the 2023/24 academic year on a part-time basis. If you have experience working with young adults in an education, medical or training setting this may be the role for you. Benefits £13.50 per hour Part-time hours Access to high street discounts and employee assistance programme Monday to Friday hours only, no evenings or weekends Opportunity to work with leading third level education providers Requirements Have experience of working with young people or adults with mild, moderate, or severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities and/or long-term medical conditions Access to transport due to campus locations would be highly desirable but is not essential Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting checks before commencement in role including an Access NI check Duties Working with students Assisting students in accessing campus facilities including opening doors, carrying bags, orientation around campus, general assistance etc Ensuring that all documentation and authorisation procedures are adhered to Making any necessary reasonable adjustments to ensure support is delivered in an accessible manner To provide support to students on work placement To liaise with parents/carers/guardians when directed to do so To supervise students Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
