About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Content Marketing Manager to join an innovative government body located in the South West of the United Kingdom. This role involves leading the delivery of a content marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, increase engagement, and drive business growth.
Working closely with the Head of Brand and Content as part of the campaigns team, you will deliver integrated marketing campaigns by developing engaging and creative content across various platforms, including websites, social media, and events. This contract role offers flexibility with a hybrid work model requiring two days onsite per week, competitive pay, and the opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the brand message consistently across all channels, including websites, social media, and events.
* Develop a variety of content assets for owned, earned, and paid channels to support integrated marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate with team members to shape and align the content strategy with business and marketing objectives.
* Identify opportunities to engage target audiences and drive brand visibility.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to prioritize content creation and improvements.
* Maintain a content calendar and oversee distribution across all channels.
* Collaborate with wider teams to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in content marketing roles, with expertise in digital content, campaigns, and communications.
* Degree in marketing or a relevant field.
* High proficiency in proofreading and copywriting to deliver clear and engaging brand messages.
* Ability to create versatile content tailored to B2B industries.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.
