Do you have experience working with children with SEND?
TeachRecruiters are searching for a calm, patient and adaptable SEND teaching assistant to work within a specialist resource base within a mainstream primary school. The role will include providing one-to-one support and working in small groups with children with ASD and complex communication needs.
This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
What is the school looking for?
1. NVQ Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
2. SEND experience within an education setting.
3. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
4. The ability to support SEND students 1:1 and in small groups.
5. Knowledge of maintaining, updating, and reviewing progress of EHCPS.
