What You'll Be Doing As a Support Worker, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team, working together to create a structured, engaging, and supportive environment for young people. Your role will include: Providing Direct Care & Support – Help young people navigate daily routines, build essential life skills, and develop confidence in a stable and structured environment. Building Positive Relationships – Earn trust and respect while setting boundaries that encourage personal growth and responsibility. Problem-Solving & Leadership – Handle situations calmly and confidently, using initiative to de-escalate conflicts and make informed decisions. Teamwork & Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to maintain a consistent and safe environment, ensuring that young people feel secure and supported. Engaging in Varied Activities – Get involved in a wide range of experiences, including school runs, attending professional meetings, health and education appointments, and supporting family contact sessions. Outdoor & Recreational Activities – Join young people in active pursuits such as swimming, rugby, hiking, biking, theme parks, soft play, and more, encouraging them to try new things and stay active. Salary & Benefits Competitive Pay: £29,448 (35 hours per week working a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern) up to £43,286 (3 on, 3 off working pattern) Career Progression: Funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, plus completion bonuses.
