Winter works will run from April - August
Are you ready to make a real impact by constructing and refurbishing critical irrigation infrastructure across northern Victoria?
As a Field Service Officer, you’ll play a key role in our planned winter works construction programs. Whether it’s operating machinery like excavators and heavy rigid trucks, or providing labouring support to the crews, your work will directly contribute to GMW’s vision of “Water for a thriving northern Victoria.”
Locations:
Living Away from Home Arrangements available for West sites.
What you’ll do:
* Deliver Winter Works planned construction projects that help keep our irrigation and storage infrastructure in top shape.
* Operate plant equipment, including excavators, trucks, rollers, etc., to carry out essential construction tasks.
* Complete manual labour and other field tasks to support your crew.
* Work in a team and independently on a range of diverse and challenging jobs.
What we’re looking for:
* Construction White Card.
* Heavy Rigid truck and Car licence.
* Building and Construction experience.
* Plant and machinery experience (roller, truck, etc.).
* Excavator ticket and experience in trenching, benching, and shaping channel batters (highly desired).
