As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to provide leadership and management in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing safety, quality, and production efficiency while coaching and directing associates to meet and exceed company goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Production & Leadership:
* Oversee all aspects of safety, quality, and production for an assigned shift.
* Lead and direct production, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping initiatives.
* Manage and train production associates while fostering a culture of accountability.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate production schedules and collaborate with peers across shifts to ensure seamless operations.
* Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, cost performance, and service.
Safety & Compliance:
* Maintain a safe working environment and uphold all safety policies and procedures.
* Promote a Safety Perfect Culture through training and reinforcement of safety protocols.
* Conduct daily area inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Continuous Improvement & Communication:
* Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
* Communicate production progress and key updates to employees and management.
* Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
* Support specialty projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education & Experience:
o Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing environments.
o Proven leadership experience in a production setting.
* Skills & Abilities:
o Strong team leadership and coaching abilities.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with Lean Manufacturing preferred.
o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
o Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Knowledge of plant operations and safety regulations.
