ADHD Teaching Assistant Location: Southport, Merseyside, North West England Salary: £12.90 - £14.50 per hour Benefits: Free continuous professional development (CPD) Job Duties: Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students with ADHD Provide one-on-one support to students with ADHD, helping them stay focused and engaged in their educational activities Monitor and manage student behaviour in the classroom Collaborate with educational staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with ADHD Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience working with students with ADHD Knowledge of ADHD strategies and interventions Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of ADHD strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in supporting students with ADHD Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom setting with students with ADHD. The work may be challenging at times, but also rewarding. The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to the needs of students is essential.
