We are looking for a full-time Sales Support colleague located in Haverhill, UK to provide commercial support to the Northern European Sales team covering the customer base in the Taste team categories which incorporate the IFF’s portfolio of flavors.
Your main daily tasks and key responsibilities will include:
* Be the first point of contact for customers, agents, distributors for questions related to commercial matters, projects, and existing business.
* Coordinate all communications between the customer, agent, distributor, and IFF departments and ensure timely reply to questions and follow-up on (internal) actions.
* Project management for customers, agents, distributors (loading opportunities into IFF system as accurately and detailed as possible).
* Liaise with other departments on project progress to ensure that the Account/Sales Manager and the customer/agent/distributor are kept fully up to date.
* Preparing quotes/prices.
* Requesting specifications using the IFF internal systems.
* Correct, timely, and accurate usage and maintenance of IFF and SAP systems according to the IFF business rules (e.g., pricing, customer master data, product submissions, etc.).
* Ensuring data integrity.
* Ordering and progress tracking of samples and required documentation.
* Support the Account/Sales Managers with the preparation of customer visits to IFF locations.
* Back-up for the Account/Sales Managers responsible for the same region.
* Full cross-category and cross-product back-up for Flavors Sales Support.
Required Skills/Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in business studies (or equivalent).
* Prior experience within an (international) customer service-related position, sales service department, QA, or other related position.
* Significant experience with the use of SAP in a customer service and logistics environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and solutions-oriented with the ability to interact and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers.
* Proactive and results-driven, coupled with a customer service-focused mindset.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn quickly and work with projects related IT systems.
* Organized, resilient, and able to meet deadlines without compromising consistency in the process.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
* Respect for sensitive/confidential information.
