What the Job Involves This role involves managing and administering Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 agreements within the Planning & Development sector. You will lead the developer contributions work program, handle complex casework, and enforce planning obligations. Your responsibilities include policy development, negotiation, and compliance assessment, as well as managing the collection, allocation, and reconciliation of income. Additionally, you will report on infrastructure projects to internal and external bodies such as TfL and the council's oversight board. A significant aspect of your role will be liaising with various professional stakeholders to facilitate high-quality development in Newham, especially after assimilating planning powers from LLDC.
