Customer Assurance Manager Job description Gateshead 35 hours per week £36,000-£38,000 per year Permanent We're RNIB, the UK's leading sight loss charity. We're seeking a skilled and dynamic Customer Assurance Manager to lead and manage all customer assurance and compliance activities across commercial and non-commercial workstreams. You'll ensure compliance with certifications, risk management, and audits to protect and grow our commercial income while maintaining our competitive edge. Key Responsibilities: Lead customer assurance activities, including certifications (ISO 9001, 27001, 22301, 14001, PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials Plus). Drive continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and compliance certifications. Manage risk registers, identifying and mitigating risks. Develop and review policies to meet customer assurance and operational needs. Respond to client questionnaires and build strong relationships to address compliance needs. Manage training and security checks to meet compliance requirements. Own disaster recovery planning for commercial contracts. Oversee Assurance team budget and drive continuous operational improvements. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience managing certifications and compliance in a complex environment. Strong influencing skills at all levels. Experience with risk management and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
