Role Description We have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Tooling Lead to join our newly formed Commercial Pricing Technology team. In this role, we are looking for someone who is eager to join a new team that will lead the charge in enabling advance pricing capabilities. The Pricing Tooling Lead will facilitate the discussion and agreement on the technical direction for future development of the pricing eco-system, including point-of-quote integrations and enrichments, and dependent pricing toolchains. You'll participate in the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. Furthermore, for pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification to be obtained through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK. Salary Information Pay: Circa £70,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. About You As the Pricing Tooling Lead you will be responsible for; Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the Pricing Workbench, ensuring that all functionalities are running smoothly and efficiently. They act as the primary point of contact for any issues or improvements related to the system, representing the team's interests and requirements. Leading the strategic partnership with WTW, focusing on collaborative software development and innovative initiatives that enhance business capabilities. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between internal teams and WTW to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables. Drive continuous improvement and explore new ideas to push the boundaries of current software capabilities within the partnership Managing Radar software versions for the team. Evaluating the impact and functionalities and communicating these to users promptly, providing clear guidance on changes. Acting as the primary advocate for customer needs and feedback regarding the Pricing KIT, ensuring that the development and enhancement of the tool are aligned with user expectations and business requirements Serving as a primary communication channel between the Pricing Department and IT/Info Sec teams, ensuring that all technical and security aspects of the Pricing Workbench are effectively managed Essential Skills To be successful in this role you will have/be; Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline or equivalent experience Appropriate professional qualifications preferred such as Actuarial and / or CII Experience in developing Pricing Optimisation frameworks into live pricing Experience and understanding of Commercial Lines insurance and products Experience of coaching and developing analysts within a team What We Will Offer You Recognised and rewarded for a job well done, we have a range of flexible benefits for you to choose from- so you can pick a package that’s perfect for you.
