In this high-impact role, you will:
Develop Strategic Vision: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of Learning Disability nursing services, aligning them with national and local healthcare priorities and ensuring a patient-centered approach.
Drive Service Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance holistic care delivery and patient outcomes, ensuring a seamless, integrated approach that meets individual needs.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, promoting best practices and innovation across all nursing departments.
Empower Leadership: Empower and support nursing staff, providing them with the resources and knowledge they need to achieve their goals and enhance their professional development.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analysis to identify areas for improvement in service delivery, patient experience, and staff satisfaction, developing evidence-based solutions that elevate our nursing contributions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the hospital, including executives, department heads, medical staff, and external partners, ensuring effective collaboration and a unified approach to care.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
