PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Technical Solution Architect will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end delivery of solutions throughout the various delivery phases from technical pre-sales, architecture discussion, implementation to post-deployment support. In this role the individual must be adept at developing robust technical and business cases, advocating, presenting and gaining senior-level support for new business proposals with senior-level executives. Identifying, building and nurturing strong relationships with new and existing customers in order to assist the sales teams in achieving targets. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of solutions throughout the various delivery phases from technical pre-sales, architecture, implementation to post-deployment technical support. Capture, interpret customer requirements and implement solutions to meet customer needs from our own portfolio or those of our partners in addition to identifying technical gaps where we can add additional value. Document solution proposals, architecture diagrams, High Level Designs, Low Level Designs and runbooks. Respond to the technical aspects of a tender (RFI/RFP) in a detailed and professional manner. Support partner education and training initiatives where required. EDUCATION: Degree in Engineering, or equivalent professional certifications and experience. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will have proven hands-on experience in an engineering background specializing in virtualization, Linux/Windows OS and Enterprise Mobility Management solutions: Deployment and configuration of Enterprise Mobility Management solutions. Android Enterprise management modes and enrolment methods. Samsung devices and Samsung Knox platform. Install and secure Windows Server and Linux Server OS (RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu/Debian). Virtualization (e.g. Proxmox, ESXi) and containerization solutions (e.g. Podman, Docker). Networking and core services such as DHCP, DNS, OpenSSL / Private CA / TLS Certificates, VPN (e.g. OpenVPN, WireGuard), Firewall (e.g. pfSense, OPNsense), Proxy and Load balancing platforms (e.g. HAProxy, Nginx, Apache). Relational Database Management Systems (MS SQL, MYSQL). Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms and systems. Server and client/device log analysis. Advantage - Knowledge and experience with Samsung Knox solutions and services (e.g. Knox Manage, Knox E-FOTA, Knox Platform for Enterprise, Knox Mobile Enrolment). Knowledge and experience with Apple, iOS, DEP. Hold certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, LFCS, LPIC. Hold Enterprise Mobility Certifications such as Samsung Knox Expert, Android Enterprise Expert, and/or others. EXPERIENCE: 10 years in the mobility industry, with Digital Transformation and Mobile IT services or software solutions. 5 years in a senior role capable of handling complex solution aspects of EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management), UEM (Unified Endpoint Management), MDM (Mobile Device Management), MAM (Mobile Application Management), and MCM (Mobile Content Management).
