Job summary • Managing Oncology emergencies within the ward-based setting. • Managing patients within the new and follow up clinic including complex chronic conditions. • Day unit management of patients including prescribing systemic treatment and managing complications. • Opportunity to learn HICKMAN line removals and Drainage. • Expected to participate in Research and Trials, Audits, QIPs, Teaching sessions and Active training sessions with Junior colleagues. • To carry out general Oncology duties in-line with the needs of the Department, covering day-time clinical sessions including Durnall Unit, Cannock Day unit and Daily On Calls.
