Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Quality Care Cover. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
* Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
* Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, performing assessments, and documenting patient progress.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
* Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
* Assist in the coordination of patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
Qualifications
* Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice.
* Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within a clinical setting is essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous professional development
* Minimum of 6 months UK NHS experience
