We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter - Mechanical to join our team based at Tarmac Cairneyhill Quarry and Asphalt Plant, located in Caldercruix, Airdrie near Glasgow. If you share our values of hard work, teamwork, and ambition to make things better, we want to hear from you.
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance tasks on various mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or replacing faulty parts as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your work, including completed tasks and any issues encountered.
This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including comprehensive training, opportunities for career development, and a generous pension scheme.
