Our client is seeking the right person for this exciting in-house legal function, diverse and covering all locations. He/she will identify risk mitigation and support a strong compliance culture, assist with advising on outsourcing and regulatory licenses, manage terms of business and data processing terms, draft intra-group agreements, lead projects, negotiate bespoke client terms, NDAs, supplier contracts; maintain legal and regulatory small print bank, advise on AML and automatic exchange of information, attend and prepare papers for board meetings, provide input on policies, advise on new products, office moves, acquisitions and disposals and entries into new jurisdictions.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Must be a lawyer with significant PQE, ideally in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team.
2. Corporate/funds law experience/in-house legal experience is a plus (particularly if gained in a regulated environment).
3. CGI and/or STEP qualifications are a plus.
4. Able to work under pressure and to prioritize and multi-task.
5. Diligent with strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and listening skills.
7. Good relationship builder.
8. Proactive self-starter.
9. Highly organized.
10. Innovative and technology passionate.
