Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.

* Proficient in kitchen operations, including meal preparation and cooking techniques.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a restaurant setting.
