About the Role
The Retrofit Apprentice role is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and technical training while working alongside experienced professionals. You’ll attend school or college one day per week as part of your apprenticeship and, upon successful completion, may secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside a fully qualified Retrofitter to learn and undertake retrofitting tasks.
Record work and complete administration in line with standards and timescales.
Deliver retrofitting work safely, cleanly, and to a high-quality standard.
Learn cost management and identify cost-reduction methods.
Represent Axis professionally, aligning with Core Values and Equality Standards.
Skills & Requirements
✔ GCSE (or equivalent): Minimum grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
✔ Communication Skills: Clear and accurate communication via phone and in person.
✔ Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
✔ Positive Attitude: Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills.
