About you
As Finance Business Partner at OutForm, you will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of our business. Your role will involve strategic financial planning, managing commercial contracts, and optimising financial performance. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in finance, a keen eye for commercial opportunities, and the ability to drive sustainable growth. The role will report into the Director, Operations at OutForm as part of the business support team.
As Finance Business Partner, you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; such as Professional Accountancy qualification. You will preferably be a member of a recognised body of accountants (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in both finance and commercial management roles (preferably in a Professional Services Organisation).
* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
* Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
What would I be doing at OutForm:
You will build/nurture and shape a finance function that is future-proofed for the expansion of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
Finance Operations
* This is a standalone role with an outsourced payroll function, therefore you will be involved in all finance operation activities including the preparation of month-end reports, managing and delivering a seamless invoicing process, and other key financial reporting and activities.
Contract Management:
* Negotiate, review, and manage client contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
* Collaborate with accounting and delivery teams to mitigate commercial risks and ensure contractual compliance.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
* Monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for improved efficiency.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall objectives.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
* Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Team collaboration:
* Cultivate strong relationships with Key Account Managers and Directors to understand their project and client needs.
* Collaborate with the Directors to identify new opportunities for revenue growth and business generation.
* Support in bid management for the preparation of competitive and compelling commercial proposals for prospective clients.
* Work with sector and proposition teams to develop pricing strategies and value propositions.
Risk Management:
* Identify and assess potential commercial risks associated with projects, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
