About the role
Our client is an established company in the Engineering industry. They are now looking to bring in a Stores Controller to assist with stocktake, administration, and customer service work. This role is in a fast-paced environment and requires a hardworking individual who is happy to get stuck in.
Responsibilities
1. Organise, sort, and manage stock, including stocktake as required.
2. Allocate stock to Pick Lists and notify any discrepancies.
3. Book into stock any excess parts.
4. Perform various administrative and clerical tasks.
5. Scan and upload onto MRP system, delivery notes, orders, etc.
6. Answer and direct calls as required.
Ideal Candidates
1. Have experience in a Stores / Stock Controller position.
2. Have worked in a fast-paced environment.
3. Be able to work independently and unsupervised.
4. Have administration and customer service experience.
5. Have great attention to detail.
Working Hours
1. Monday - Friday
2. 7.30am - 4.30pm, 12.30pm finish on Fridays.
3. £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
