The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter to join the team on nightsHours: Shifts run across Sunday to Saturday - between 22:30pm - 23:30pm startsPay Rate : £14.88 per hour PAYE rising to £15.58 after 12 weeksLocation: Plymouth, PL6Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidateThe role:Operate Class 1 vehicles to move trailers and containers within the yard.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of equipment.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard.Assist with other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset.For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
