We’re on the lookout for a committed and caring SEN Class Teacher to join an amazing team in Erdington. About the Role: This full-time, permanent position is for a Year 9 Pathway 4 Class, catering to 8 wonderful pupils who are non-verbal and have complex needs. You’ll play a key role in nurturing their development using EYFS principles and other tailored approaches like PECS. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Supporting communication and interaction, incorporating PECS where appropriate.
* Creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where students can thrive.
* Working closely with a supportive team of TAs to ensure holistic care and learning.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with a heart for special education (experience in SEN is a bonus).
* Knowledge or experience in PECS and/or EYFS principles.
* A patient, flexible, and creative approach to teaching.
* Someone ready to start ASAP and hit the ground running!
