The Role The Gas Responsible Person will act as the lead technical authority for all gas-related systems on site, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and reliability across the estate. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes managing a team of engineers, coordinating maintenance operations, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Act as the go-to expert for gas-related issues, ensuring all activities meet statutory and industry standards. Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks to uphold safety and compliance. Maintain clear, up-to-date records aligned with health and safety legislation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to deliver a consistent, high-quality service. Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their development and progression. Carry out risk assessments and implement corrective actions to manage safety risks.
